Barge Waggoner Community Fund donates to Alabama Rural Ministry

By Deborah Varallo

The BWSC Community Fund made a $2,000 donation to Alabama Rural Ministry. Morgan Bell, an employee in the Columbus, Georgia office of Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc., and his family actively volunteer with the organization on home repair service days. Alabama Rural Ministry extends assistance through home repair, affordable housing, and children’s ministry while creating spaces for primarily youth and young adults to serve. It is accomplished by operating mission camps and home repair volunteer opportunities in two Alabama communities. This contribution will make it possible for these opportunities to continue through 2017.
