Campfest Clayton Georgia 2105

Campfest

Campfest SEPTEMBER 18 – 20, 2015 IN CLAYTON, GA

CampfestCampfest is excited to welcome New Breed Brass Band and Wrenn to its already excellent lineup featuring Cold War Kids, Hey Rosetta!, Langhorne Slim, The Whigs, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Margo and the Pricetags and more! New Breed Brass Band, a band that lives and breathes the culture of New Orleans, is a custom-made enhancement of second-line brass band tradition that expands on the conventional genres of funk, rock, jazz and hip-hop. In addition to their poolside performance, they will be leading a pop-up parade through camp. Athens’ newly crowned pop- sweetheart, Wrenn, combines rich, vibrant vocals with powerful songwriting and is quickly making her mark on the regional music scene. Campfest is an intimate experience with artists hanging out, participating in activities and holding impromptu jam sessions, so campers should expect to get extra face time with some of the incredible artists on the lineup.
Pack light and let Campfest do the cooking for you! Each Meal Plan includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday, entry to Sunday’s Bluegrass Brunch, one voucher that can be used at the Camp Cafeì, plus a handful of drink tickets. At Bluegrass Brunch, guests can fill their bellies with Southern favorites and savor the weekend’s memories while kicking off Sunday Funday with live bluegrass music.
Campfest is partnering with Thunderbolt Yoga to provide multiple Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga classes per day suitable for all levels. It is a powerful, energetic, and playful style with a strong emphasis on breath and alignment. Beginners, intermediate and advanced students alike can be challenged in the all levels classes. Thunderbolt Power Yoga’s mission is to lead people into the life they love, and they are committed to helping campers be audaciously playful and dedicated to their practice of yoga.
Camp Counselors will be on the prowl all weekend to reward anyone for doing anything awesome, from winning Costume Kickball to showcasing their sick dance
moves. Participate in a scavenger hunt or the cabin and campsite decorating contest, climb on the rock climbing wall or fly down the zip line- activities are all included in the cost of campers’ Event Pass. Participation is not required but is highly encouraged in the spirit of camp! Pre-registration will be available and is recommended for some group activities and competitions. All currently scheduled Campfest activities can be found at . Even if attendees don’t win a single point (which is pretty much impossible), they’ll have a heck of a fun time watching the absurdity unfold.
Three-day Event Passes are on sale now at  for $89, and VIP tickets are priced at $250. All guests who wish to stay onsite must either purchase a $75 camping pass or a cabin pass starting as low as $150 per person in addition to an event pass. Attendees can either purchase a single cabin ticket in a communal cabin or bunk up with up to 32 friends. Tickets for The Lodge, the epitome of camp luxury, include a private room with full sized bed, Happy Camper lounge with fireplace, VIP admission for 2 to the festival and tons of snacks and goodies. Lodge rooms with a private bathroom are $1500 and with a shared bathroom are $1200.
Attendees are encouraged to join the Campfest mailing list at  for a chance to win a pair of free event passes.
